Up for your consideration are a variety of African hand made Indigo Mud cloths from Mali.
These tribal ethnic chic indigo mud cloths are handmade using natural dyes in Mali
The cloths are dyed with indigo powder extracted from the leaves of the indigofera tinctoria plant. Today, the use of synthetic indigo dye is predominant, but pockets of artisans still process the plant to create this prized traditional cloth.
Note: Traditional powered indigo dye is not set and therefor the mud cloth dye can rub off on the hands.
For best care, hand-wash in cool water and air dry.
Note: The colors shown here may differ than the actual color due to the variances in computer monitor settings.
These mud cloths have different designs, are made in Mali and are "Lapa" size.
Measurement: One Mud Cloths Approx. 42" - 45" wide x 63" - 68" long.
Sizes vary and mud cloths are inherently uneven due to the hand spun cotton fabric.
